Sunset Cruise Cost in Goa: Mandovi Prices Explained

Most people ask about the price before they ask about the sunset. That is sensible. A sunset cruise is short, so it helps to know what you are paying for.

Here are the prices on our listings in October 2026, what they cover, and how they compare with a dinner cruise. Prices can change with the season, so check the listing before you book.

How much does a sunset cruise cost in Goa?

On the Mandovi, our sunset cruises are listed like this.

Paradise Sunset Cruise: ₹500 per person, 1 hour
Vihaan Sunset Cruise: ₹500 per person, 1 hour
Princessa Sunset Cruise: ₹700 per person, 1 hour
Nirvana Sunset Cruise: ₹700 per person, 1 hour 15 minutes

All four depart from Panjim, North Goa. On our sunset page the departure times fall between about 5:45 PM and 6:15 PM, so you are on the water for the golden hour.

What does the price cover?

The listings describe the experience, not a long itemised list. For the sunset cruises that is:

Time on the Mandovi around sunset, with open deck space and seating
Live music and games on the Paradise and Nirvana cruises
On Nirvana, a bar and open seating areas

Because sunset cruises are short, you won’t get the dinner that comes with the evening sailings. If you want a meal, book a dinner cruise or plan your own dinner afterwards.

What is the starting price of a Mandovi River dinner cruise?

The lowest dinner cruise price on our listings is ₹999 per person, for the Family Dinner Cruise and the Night Cruise. The range goes up from there:

₹999 to ₹1,000: Family Dinner Cruise, Night Cruise, Nirvana and the Classic Dinner Cruise
₹1,199: Triple Deck Dinner Party Cruise, Paradise Luxury, Carnival and the Mandovi Boat Party
₹1,500: Coral Queen
₹2,999 (standard): VIP Luxury, which runs for 3 hours

What about sunset cruises in South Goa?

The sunset cruises we list sail from Panjim in North Goa, on the Mandovi River. We don’t list sunset cruises in South Goa, so we can’t quote prices there. Other operators set their own rates, and what you get varies. If you compare, check three things: how long you are on the water, whether food and drinks are included, and when the boat leaves.

How to book

Book ahead for weekends and peak months. The listings recommend this, especially from November to March.
Pay the balance before the cruise. Our terms ask guests to settle the full balance before it begins.
Know the cancellation rules. There is no charge with 72 hours’ notice. Within 72 hours there is a 50% fee, and within 24 hours or for a no-show it is 100%. If we cancel for weather, you can reschedule or take a full refund. See our booking terms.
